Project 3 Comments
One of the main comments about this animation was graffic content pertaininng to death in it. A few people commented on how desencetized our country has become to it that we can watch or make things like it with out feeling bad. i believe people actually enjoy seeing things such as this as long as its not real. thats why there are movies like Saw. although the figures have a realistic quality to them its obviously an animation an can be viewed as just a movie.

Project 2 ideas
my plan for project 2 is to recreate the lyrics of a song using clips from movies. im going to take each word of the song and find a clip from a movie that says that word and use it as the songs. there wont be any music behind it, it will just be like an acapella version.
Dinner Time - without sound
After watching my slide show with out audio i got some other ideas of sounds that i could use. first, for the over all song i feel like there still needs to be a strong beat to go along with the transition of photos. other than that i think maybe a fast paced classical piano could make it quite interesting. the piano might take away from the beat but might help some of the movement be more lively. Another idea i had was to create noises that could have gone with the different actions that happened in the movie. the noises could have enhanced the actions and made the different scenes a little more intriguing.
Project One - Dinner Time
For this project I used a stop motion style of slide show to create my movie. some things that i could have further worked on would to have more photos to make a longer video. the video was a good length but i believe i had a range of options to make it longer and still be able to hold the viewers attention. also i could have set up the lighting a little better in order to keep the setting more fluent.
over all i believe that the slide show was a success. the pictures i took were interesting and the movement between them kept the viewer intrigued. the motion and timing of the pictures was very fluent as well. i believe that the music created went along very well with the video. it followed the timing of the images and also switched up with different sounds so it wasn't dull. for the editing i laid out the images first in the order i wanted, then loaded in the song. next, i changed the length of the files to flow with the music. i believed they worked together very well.

Silent Commercials
We had to view 5 commercials with now sound to try and pick out the use of timing and transition in the ads. For most ads there were very quick clips lasting about 1 second or less. If the clips were longer it was because they were trying to sell you a certain product. The commercials selling items used the zoom effect to enhance there ad. Most commercials did not use transistion. If they used any during the ad they were all consistant with each other.
